    Tobacco Inventory, iOS

Thank YOU!! I'd forgotten about MyStuff - I bought it a couple of years ago and never got around to using it!

    Tobacco Inventory, iOS

Ok, so I put the msa file into my dropbox folder. Went (in Mystuff) to settings, data transfer, import data, Cloud, Dropbox, found the file and tapped on it. I was prompted to restore and said so -- no problem!! I was able clear the database by tapping Edit - then tap each circle to the left...

Any chance you could share your (empty) database to save us from having to reinvent the wheel? :-)

    Falcon Pipes with Meerschaum Bowls

I have several stems and bowls - one of mine is a custom made meer with a cork ring for the mount. It's about a year old now and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of wear. It still screws in solidly with no leaks. As far as smoking, it's like any other meer and any other falcon bowl!

How Long Have You Been Smoking Pipes?

Started in 1963 - laid off for a few years in the middle, and resumed about 10 years ago. Still smoking that original basket bulldog I started with (plus about 30 more pipes, now!!).

Antique store finds! Plus, should I bought a falcon?

Unless you have another Falcon broken in a different place, I'd avoid that one. There are no parts available as according to the company the inner tube and mouthpiece can't be disassembled. I love the looks of the Kaywoodie bulldog, but I'm in Canada :-(

How Long Have You Been Smoking A Pipe?

My first pipe was in 1963. I Smoked till 1976 when I got asthma, then not again until about 2000. Had a few pipes from back then, including my very first one (picture below) and my Grandad's Meerschaum! I've added a whole bunch more since then!! My very first pipe -- Drugstore basket variety...

    Please don't poke the bear!

Thanks, mranglophile -- I'm up to 6 hours sleep now, and then my back starts to hurt and wakes me (it's actually my hip that hurts but it's referred pain). I don't sleep really well but it's getting better! I feel like I've almost won this battle, thanks in part to you guys supporting me!

Can I see your meerschaum pipe(s)?

They sure smoke well! And I love the connection to grandad!

Can I see your meerschaum pipe(s)?

This was my grandfather's pipe -- a rare double bowl meer. It was gifted to him in 1917 and I still smoke it! Dunno what he used, but I'm mostly 1-Q! The white one above this is an NOS that I found on eBay - it seems to be by the same maker (R. Lewis, James St., London) as the case and...

    Please don't poke the bear!

I think it's possible to be both dependent and addicted -- in fact, they probably usually go together with this crap.

    Please don't poke the bear!

Thanks, newbroom -- I agree with you, btw. I'm rather (read "very") frustrated that I'm told this stuff isn't addictive, it's a very mild dose, you won't have any trouble getting off it....... bah!!

    Please don't poke the bear!

Interesting information, settersbrace - I wasn't aware of that. I have been on a very low dose of 100 mg daily of extended released tramadol (Durela) and it's a powder in a capsule. I really can't "reduce" -- I suppose I could take one every 2 days -- but I think I'm over the worst now. Slept a...

    Please don't poke the bear!

Thanks, Menuhin -- I got an hour's sleep, now I'm awake again :-(

    Please don't poke the bear!

Thanks guys - yes, here in Canada it's controlled -- I'm not sure what all the classifications are but it's definitely up there! Massage really helps, for sure! Thanks for the encouraging words!
