    I'm about to jump into refurbishing an old peterson. Do you think fiebings burgundy will do a decent job mimicking the original stain?

    Question about twist/rope tobacco

    I just recieved some Gawith,Hoggarth & Co cherry rope tobacco. Man what a smoke! In my area (north Georgia), you can still find very old fashioned twist chewing tobacco up in the mountains. My question is this GH&Co rope essentially the same thing as twist chew? Any knowledge appreciated.

    Old American Pipe Companies

    Im very interested in looking at and collecting samples from old (1870s-1920s)American Pipe Companies. I have a Couple of William Demuth Co. pipes and one Consolidated Pipe. Any ideas for other pipe companies? Maybe other cob pipe companies? Please post photos if you have them.

    Question about BBK Swiss Farm Pipes/ German Pipes

    Hi all... Does anyone hae any experience with BBk pipes or what might be called Swiss farm pipes. I think BBK went out in the 70s. These pipes tend to be dark rustics with metal windcaps. SOme have small ornamental flowers or stags on the bowl area...look kinda cool and wanted to know how...
