    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

Gentlemen it strikes again. I cracked a tin of St. Bruno flake Saturday to celebrate the end of a very long school year, and watching my seniors graduate. The first bowl was fantastic. I ordered 5 more tins to make sure I had a small supply.

Finally! Found The Fly Reel I Wanted (Hopefully)

Always enjoy hearing about other fly anglers gear. I picked up a new trout rod this year! TFO LK Legacy 9ft5wt and a Lamson Liquid.

    Preferred Pipe Shape

I’ve got a thing for straight billiards. I have other shapes I enjoy as well though.

Are Many Millennials Smoking Pipes? Also: Seek Tobacco Suggestions

I’ll be thirty-one in august. I started pipe smoking during undergrad since my friends and saw how much cheaper good pipe tobacco was compared to a good cigar. Thankfully we also had a great B&M around to. These days I still have a friend or two who do, but I’m the only one who does with regularity.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2021?***

I’m about to enjoy my first bowl through my new Briarworks Billiard I just picked up. I had no need of a new pipe. I had just recently picked up one of their Prince shapes, but told myself this new billiard would be perfect to commemorate the school year ending and getting a graduation cohort...

Haunted Bookshop - Love Or Hate...

I have some and like I fine. The 2oz sample I had was from their bulk version and I’ve since added two tins to my cellar. I typically used it to break in a new pipe, but have been leaning on Chatham Manor for that instead. I’ve got some Pegasus as well that I didn’t care for on my first go...

One Blend in One Pipe for One Week

Lately I’d say Chatham Manor in either my Briarworks price or Peterson Irish Made Army 101. I did just order a Briarworks Billiard though, and I have been thinking about cracking my tin of St. Bruno flake to try when the school year ends...

Show Me Your Favorite Tobacco Knife!

I’ve never got around to one of the Opinels, but I’ve seen some modded ones with wharncliffe blades and blacked steel/ dark stained handles that are awesome.

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

Well I am weak. A new order placed for a tin of Warhorse Bar and a tin of St Bruno’s flake. Someday I’ll actually work through my open stuff.

I purchase almost solely online from SP. The only time is really look elsewhere is for Russ’ blends.

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

A tin of Windjammer fell in my cart somehow when I ordered my new Briarworks Prince from SP. I’ve been eyeing up Warhorse Bar today too, I’m thinking of getting a tin to try. It never ends I’m afraid, I have too many open tins now and a backlog of un-sampled blends in my cellar already.

Show Me Your Favorite Tobacco Knife!

Been toting around a tiny fixed blade recently. I really like it for everyday stuff.

To Falcon or Not To Falcon

I think every time I look for one of these I can’t find the style stem I want in stock.

How Do You Spend Your Evenings?

With COVID things are a bit different than normal, but most evenings after leaving the office I make dinner with my girlfriend and either pursue some video games or read, enjoy a pipe, enjoy one of my other hobbies, go for a walk etc. I do generally travel to martial arts classes twice a week...

    Enjoying Some G.L Pease Gaslight

Happy to hear it! I stocked up on some English mixtures I’ve been wanting to try, but I have too many tins open right now..

    Boswell Pipe Store

I had an incredibly different view of his store personally, I was happy to be a in a brick and mortar shop that actually catered to pipe smokers instead of cigars and had a fantastic selection while being knowledgeable, and eager to speak with customers. It is definitely cheaper to buy online...

    Enjoying Some G.L Pease Gaslight

I’ve been working on a tin of gaslight for a few years now. I enjoy it quite a bit. As soon as I finish my open tin of nightcap I plan to open up the spark plug I have waiting, or maybe the squadron leader..
