    That's pretty silly if you ask me. I'm not a fan of Peterson pipes so I would never buy one, having to buy a pipe to get a blend makes no sense. Personally, I'm haven't found a C&D blend I really love yet so this is just too much effort.

    I believe high grade pipes will still rise, they are art. There may not be a big demand for regular smokers and they make drop. I personally don't believe tobacco ever gets banned.

    I would say they matter. Pipe factories keep the prices of new pipes down. Not everybody can afford artisan pipes. It's nice to have Savinelli, Brebbia, Briar Works, etc around. I imagine soon there won't be enough demand to support them because pipe smoking seems to be a dying pass time.

    A lot of people will recommend a cob, I don't. You don't want a subpar first experience. Get yourself a Meerschaum pipe with a 9mm filter. I could be the last pipe you ever need.

    Agree, nothing smokes like a meer, especially a 9mm meer :) I like Baki pipes but I only have 1 left and it's unsmoked. If he made 9mm meers I'd buy a few more. Never enjoyed dealing with Deniz, very crabby and very ghetto website. Baki should just sell direct and cut him out.
