    Blue Room Briars

Scott and Jesse are crushing it IMO. Maybe not the biggest game in town but certainly my favorite all around. Support them!

    Soap Taste When Smoking Virginia

Send them to me, I’ll save you the trouble :) Kidding aside, I’d say it sounds like either a Lakeland essence or perhaps your body chemistry. Good luck!

    Like Cubans- What To Try

I am foremost a pipe smoker, mostly VA and VaBurs. I have been enjoying the Cuban cigars I came across, namely the H Upman Half Coronas and Montecristos. What are some non Cuban brands/sticks I should look to try? I do know I like milder cigars like the Davidoff Primeros and I also favor a...

    Mr Snuff - Lead Times?

Yeah I'm just gonna be patient. I forgot what I ordered now....lots of Gawith Apricot, a new favorite, as well as soem new ones to try. I also don't have the luxury to sit or drive and smoke my pipe in peace, so the little bumps along the way are ideal.

    Mr Snuff - Lead Times?

Just curious if anyone else has experienced significant delays w/ their orders... Their website states orders may take b/w 4-8 weeks to arrive due to lack of transport options. I placed my order about a month ago and no word yet.

    Andreas Bennwik

I have a killer billiard w/boxwood he made in 2014. Snagged it unsmoked from the DPS awhile back. So far no complaints at all!

    Help Me Date a Pete

Wow, super interesting. My initial thoughts were mid to late 40's given the Pipehill info. BROBS - how do you know its a Canadian market pipe? What distinguishes them from others?

    Help Me Date a Pete

Couldn't pass up this shape 53 lovat (my fav) in a sandblasted Pete. Upon some initial research, based on the stamping, this would be a pre-republic pipe? Any help much appreciated!

    What is Santa Smoking Tonight?

Was thinking about this whilst enjoying a holiday blend this morning. At first I thought, burley shag like 5 Bros to keep awake for the long flight. Then I figured, nah, maybe a sensible aromatic English, as Santa likes sweets too. But then, maybe he's old school and is rocking the Granger tub...

    St. Bruno: Will It Ghost?

What hawk said. I LOVE SB, but don't worry about the ghosts. I don't consider it a Lakeland essence as much as a dark and fruity stew, with some KY mixed in. Sure, I can smell it in my pipe the next morning, but after a few days, I don't seem to notice it anymore once it airs out. Use a cob if...

How Long Does Tobacco Stay Fresh

Mylar is good for storage but not necessary if you're reopening the bag to smoke from regularly.

How Long Does Tobacco Stay Fresh

Forever. Haha, kidding but not. I've learned that overly dry tobacco smokes amazing, to the point where I feel bad for storing samples of blends in ziplocks only to return to them months later and find them completely enjoyable. Don't overthink this. Just work on the packing and cadence and it...

Your Opinion on Kentucky Fire-Cured Tobacco?

St Bruno for me is a truly unique blend that contains KY leaf but also has this amazing flavor profile to it. A polarizing blend but worth trying if you're curious.
