    Cheap Buffing Wheel Setup?

Not lookin for a fight Woods. Just not gonna walk away from one either. The MSM comment, stated bluntly, is that far too many folks have fallen into the habit of espousing half truths, not unlike the Main Stream Media. To your 1/3 comment. What you failed to mention is that 48% or so gave it 4...

    Cheap Buffing Wheel Setup?

Say what you will Woods, your initial post, that I responded to, in no way reflected your later disclaimer. It quite looks like "Stomping". Your attempted justification to my response, is also less than forthright. The truth of the matter is that 37% of the folks that purchased it gave it 5...

    Cheap Buffing Wheel Setup?

One last comment to the OP of this thread. If this is gonna be your first try at buffin, polishin and restorin briars, I'd recommend you start out on an old inexpensive basket/estate pipe. That way, if you do screw it up, you've really lost nothing of any great value. I started out on old no...

    Cheap Buffing Wheel Setup?

Well woods, yer definitely entitled to your opinion. I disagree however. I've restored/refurbed over 60 briars with this setup without any issues from the buffer. The only damage to any pipe was when I lost my grip and it shot a stem across the room and broke off the tenon. No worries though...

    Cheap Buffing Wheel Setup?

This.... https://www.amazon.com/VARIABLE-POLISHER-BUFFER-Polishing-diameter/dp/B00OTWHYVI/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1534769850&sr=8-15&keywords=jewelry+polisher Nothing to buy and then assemble. Simply take out of box, attach the buffing wheels and start buffin. ;-) It's what I've been using for...

    Birth Of A Cellar

For me it was one pipe and one pouch of tobacco that I'd had for decades, then about 2 years ago....... http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/mancave-make-over-is-complete-picture-heavy Happily, there is no known cure. ;-)

Almost Done with My Own Personal Smoking Space.

Great work Scott. I love my "mancave". Great place to enjoy a pipe or cigar year round.

First Venture Truly Smoking in Public...Didn't Make Me Feel Too Good

Sadly it's not limited to little tikes and their brainwashers (parents, teachers, msm, etc...) I've been a cigar and pipe smoker since 1981. Have been a golfer since 1997. Subsequently I grab a handful of cigars Every time I go to the course. This afternoon was no different. Monday...

    Smoking Inside the House

folonator, thanks for that link on the exhaust fan. I believe it's a "Hyper" or something along those lines. Was developed for the folks in the "Grower" community to move air in their "grow" rooms. it is very powerfull, can move over 1,000 cfm and is very quiet. I will probably replace my...

    Smoking Inside the House

Thanks for linking my mancave 3rdguy. Ben, when I was having an addition built onto my house, 11 or so years ago, I had it built with a home office in the attic space above the new media room and master bedroom addition. I had the builder put in an exhaust fan setup. It's a panasonic whisper...

Check out What's New from the Captain..

Sounds like something being made available to the Mary Jane crowd, not unlike Blunts, whose intent, as I understand it, is to pull the edge off of harsh weed. Just a thought.....

MANCAVE MAKE OVER IS COMPLETE (picture heavy)

Ha, lovin all the comments fellas. Last night Nick and I played a few games of chess and enjoyed a few bowls while we were playing. Today I had an early flight to Chicago and was back home @ 11pm. I had a few reports to get finished so I took advantage of the cave and enjoyed a few pipes while...

    Prince Albert 1.5 Ounce Box

I'd also recommend you give Carter Hall a try. I've got several pouches of each and use em both to break in new or newly refurbed briars. Also a great tobacco to give a first timer to try, hardly ever a chance of any significant tongue bite.
