    RYO Grinder For Pipe Tobacco?

Yes, that would be the sensible solution. :puffy: The thing is, in my town I can only get the cheap chinese knock offs. I would have to buy it online. And probably I will. But it doesn't hurt to check with the pros first.

    RYO Grinder For Pipe Tobacco?

Lately, I've been dabbling in the world of RYO tobacco. And I found this grinder thingie the stoners seem to love (yes, I'm that out of the loop). My question is, does it work well for pipe tobacco? I'm thinking you could get a uniform nice cut for the more messier blends. I've never used (or...

    Android Phone Apps

Google News is a smart and well designed app. Amazon Kindle is essential for me. If you work with spreadsheets, Google Sheets makes it very simple to have them synchronized in all your devices. For email, I use and love the Gmail app (but I don't use widgets). Keep Notes (also by Google) is...

    Can't find taste

Do you smoke cigarettes? That can interfere with the subtle taste of pipe tobacco.

    RYO

Sadly, there are not luxury cigarettes available in my town. Only the usual brands.

    RYO

I apologize if this topic breaks forum rules. The rule is clear about electronic devices, but no so much about RYO cigarettes. I had doubts about making this post, but I value the input from this community very much. I'm still smoking and enjoying my pipe, but for diverse reasons I've fallen...

    A little bit burned

Regarding cake, I just bend the pipe cleaner I've used into an U shape and use it to clean the inside of the bowl after each smoke. It's handy and it works.

    Unfaithful to a Blend?

I welcome variety. But I easily could be very content with one pipe, one blend, one single malt scotch, one brand of cigarette, as long as I like it.

How to Dry Tobacco in Microwave

The Frank method works wonders with garlic.

    A little bit burned

First time I see that kind of design, with the hole at the base.

    Packing Broad Cut

I tried everything, finger sticking and all, and couldn't get that baccie to smoke right. Finally, took a pair of scissors, cube cut those chunks and wide ribbons, codger scoop it and it smoked beautifully.

How to Dry Tobacco in Microwave

Any source of heat (of energy, actually) disrupts the molecules. It's not a bad thing per se. I don't like to nuke tobacco because it comes out steamy and damp.

How to Dry Tobacco in Microwave

I noticed the username, but didn't have it in me to watch the video. Still don't.

    Packing Broad Cut

Too many videos, I guess. The pad is okay, but pushing with a finger just feels wrong.

    Packing Broad Cut

Any tips for packing very wide ribbon cut? I don't like to stick my finger in the bowl, but if I don't do it with this cut, the pack is too loose. EDIT: Don't know if it's broad or coarse cut.
