Cult Blood Red Moon!
I tried this blend just on a whim and it has now become my favorite! Even my all time favorite Mississippi River is smoking quite bland after this......I think it's the quality of the tobacco blends used in this - very very good quality tobacco! Cleaning Acrylic?
Is it wise to wash pipe steams (all kinds)? That's what I do under cold water when cleaning a pipe. then run pipe cleaners through it?- davedan

Artisan Pipes
Update: So I bought the Luigi Viprati....and it's the best smoking experience I've had so far! It trumps my cobs and savinelli 320 :) In my humble opinion, if you're going to buy a briar, go for a really good one with premium quality briar, otherwise, just stick with cobs. Broken Flake (Old Gowrie)
Hi guys, I like smoking Old Gowrie but I find that it only comes alive in the middle of the bowl - the first half and the last little bit, it doesn't taste/smoke the same....is there a way to prepare broken flake so it smokes consistent all the way through?- davedan

Hi guys, Complete noob here! Do artisan pipes smoke as well as say a Savinelli? There's a pretty good PEDER JEPPESEN pipe I'm eyeing up right now but not sure if it'll smoke as well as a good quality factory pipe like the Savinelli I just got? How Long Does It Take To Break New Briar Pipe?
Update: I think it was just a short learning curve! The packing technique etc. Have been smoking my Mississippi River and I daresay it surpasses the experience of smoking it in a cob :) the rustic 320 feels great...an altogether a classier experience :D I can actually appreciate the wood...- davedan

Nope, no ghosting! I have never even heard of lakeland blends...just the ones listed have been smoked in the cobs and the cobs don't ghost either. Why Do Latakia Blends Taste Like Soap To Me?
I'm mainly using mm cobs - Freehand, Mark Twain and Country Gentleman! They get cleaned by 3 Vauen cleaners after each smoke and with 1 more cleaner before a smoke...I also clean the inside of the bowls a little with a cleaner too...Maybe it's just me lol- davedan
