    briceg, tongue bite is caused by several factors, many that are not discussed. Technique is a good starting place, other factors are better explained here: http://binsbergenpipes.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4&Itemid=6 . I hope this helps a little.

    Springtime in Sarasota...

    I was on St. Armands Circle this past Saturday. Went to Bennington's and chuckled at the $43 tin of Escudo. Snow birds are gone for the most part, thank goodness we can get back to life as usual around here :).

    GL Pease Telegraph Hill is also a decent VaPer. I find it benefits from a larger bowl but it is an easy smoking VaPer with good flavor the entire bowl.

    I have been using those disks also, I have had good results with them so far. I place the disk in a "cup" of tinfoil and then place it in the jar.

    Butz-Choquin Owners

    I own 2 Butz-Choquin pipes. Both are great smokers, fit and finish is excellent with no flaws. They are relatively inexpensive and for my money a good value.

    Pipe Cleaners

    I bought Neerup cleaning brushes and so far they have been awesome. I keep the fluffy pipe cleaners around but if needed the brushes will replace the bristle pipe cleaners for me.
