    1970s Dunhill Root Briar

Smoking my 1970s decade made Dunhill Root Briar. I didn't understand the concept or the idea of a birthday pipe, until I just told myself to get a Dunhill from the year I was born awhile back. It is a nice smoker. Does anyone know anything or anywhere where I can read up on the Root Briar...

    Darn - Laid off again

hey man I feel ya. I'm consistently paranoid about changes like that. Hang in there, also I'll have a pipe for ya. The pipe helps with the stress, I'm a lot calmer and less worried nowadays after getting into pipe tobacco and cigars recently. Look at the bright side it is an excuse to get...

    looking to buy 1st meerschaum

I got my first and only Meerschaum from AND Meerschaum pipe store. It was a lot less than the price you quoted. Under $50. I prefer my cobs now, but when I did smoke my Meerschaum a lot I found it great for araomatics , cools the smoke. I since moved on to English and prefer wood or Cobs.

Promotion at Work = Commissioned PAD

congrats on the promotion and celebratory gift to yourself. I'm in management too but still get my hands dirty every day, don't be afraid to still get into the trenches when needed and you'll be loved by your fellow direct reports. Kind of like the guy who has the ditches dug, then jump in...

new to corn cob pipes, questions

in terms of pipe screens ben88 you can give it a shot. I haven't used pipe screens on other than the "funny tobacco" I used to smoke while a college student in a small metal pipe, those were fun times and suddenly "funny tobacco" is allowed in some states while they take away or try to demonize...

NYC Mayor Tries to Ban Smoking in Apartments

our backs are to the wall, seems the whole west coast and east coast are corrupt with some sort of disease. lets hope it doesn't spread. although hope is the worst word in the metaphysical dictionary. keep it lit I guess then ;)

NYC Mayor Tries to Ban Smoking in Apartments

De Blasio and the former Bloomberg are fascists, plain and simple. Hitlery (Hillery) will be even worse. They will stop at nothing for more power, even killing innocent citizens doesn't bother them. Learn what happened under Stalin, Mao, Hitler. They already took our guns, and then they came...

I read it has to do with the taste, guessing carbonized cobs are more neutral.

Haha, those wheels get spinning up here in the North East very quick. Got it, hey bullethead slow down... Easier said than done, I got a lot on my broken back to support. The pipe helps with the stress, I do not think I can get into a lower gear, but I appreciate your moral support Phil67.

new to corn cob pipes, questions

Thanks for the kind comments. I am working on one of them. As needed the other ones will get lit up, as I said had I known about cobs I could have gotten by with just cobs and saved myself thousands of dollars abstaining from briar and morta and meerschaum. I am really happy that I found out...
