    New Mark Tinsky Bent Dublin

Here are a few pics of my new Mark Tinsky pipe. My first Tinsky. I just lit up my first bowl or Capstan Blue. Smoking like a champ, even first bowl. I'm very happy.

    Stem Replacement for Savinelli Pipe

I just dropped and broke the stem (mouthpiece) of my Savinelli 620ks Bulldog. Where can I get a replacement? I really like this pipe, good smoker. That hurt my heart when it hit the carpeted/hardwood floor and ended up in two pieces. :-(

    Choice Of Lighter

Ok, money is an object, but I want a good lighter for my pipes. The Old Boy is awesome, but not sure the extra dollars are worth the cost. What other options do ya'll recommend? I currently use a Zippo with pipe insert but would like to move to a better lighter.

    My New Anthony Machelli Pipe

I'm extremely happy with my new Anthony (Tony) Machelli pipe that I commissioned him to make for me. Awesome job, Tony ! Highly recommend Tony. Here are the three Machelli Pipes that I now own.

    Seattle Evening

I just opened a tin of Seattle Pipe Club's Seattle Evening. Tin note was not what I expected, sort of light aroma with some notes that I really can't put my finger (or nose) on. First bowl is very good. Lighter smoke than I expected, but flavorful. Very dry to touch, but smokes well. Burn is...

    New Neerup Pipe - Question

I ordered from a new Neerup pipe and just got it in. I was excited to open the box only to find that it won't pass a pipe cleaner, not even close. It only has a slight bend, not the issue. I seems that it is poorly drilled. Anyone have this experience. Maybe there is something that I don't...

    John Patton's Moe's Confetti

The more I some John Patton's creation, Moe's Confetti, the more I like it. It is a smooth burley with great room note. Enough spiciness to keep it interesting and no bite. I've been a big fan of VA's and VA/Per's but this might get me hooked to the burley based tobaccos. As far as I know...

    My New Icarus Volcano

I've only smoked one bowl through this fine piece of art but I'm already thinking this will be a favorite pipe. Check it out. It was smaller than I was expecting but still a nice long smoke.

Old Style Safety Razors - Choices?

I know it's not a standard topic of discussion but I would like to know what double edged safety razors that you guys would recommend. I'm tired of spending tons of dollars on the new Mach type blades. Time to get back to the basics. :-)

My Taste In Tobacco Keeps Changing

Anyone have the problem of your taste for tobacco's change... on a regular basis? I am currently hooked up on Full Virginia Flakes. No Perique or Latakia or especially Burley, just straight Virginia. That said, anyone have a Favorite Virginia? I would love to find a quality smoke without...

    My First Savinelli With Filter

Just finished my first bowl of tobacco with a filtered Sav. I need some info on the filter usage. 1. How many times can the filter be reused? 2. It seemed to be a tight fit in the shank of pipe. What's the best way to extract it? 3. On my non-filtered pipes, I always run a pipe cleaner...

New Tobacco Arrival Brings A Big Grin

Really enjoying my shipment I got from 4Noggins. Got some Escudo and some Frog Morton Cellar, along with some more goodies. It's the first time I've had either and I've got a big silly grin on my face. Not sure which I like more. They are both outstanding, of course different totally, but great...

    Drying Out SPC's Mississippi River

Has anyone tried drying out MS River? I love the tobacco but seems to me to be a little moist. I'm just smoking a bowl that I dried for about 2 hours. I'm liking what I'm finding. Anyone else? I know it's common practice with flakes, but my first time to try this with the MS River.

    New MM Cobs And Tobacco

I just got my care package from Pipes & Cigars. I got two tins of White Knight and the four MM Cobs plus matching tobacco. First, the first bowl of White Knight was very good. I think it will be a great addition to my pipe smoking hobby. But the real reason of this post is about the MM...

    New Anthony Marchelli Pipe

Here is my brand new Anthony Marchelli creation. This is my second pipe from him and let me say, I am excited. If it smokes as well as first one, it's gonna be awesome. Happy at what I see.

    Keep Tupelo In Your Prayers

Havent had a lot of bowls of tobacco lately. My dear city was hit by a EF-2 tornado on Monday 4/28. There was one death related to the storm but it was not caused by a direct encounter with the tornado (car accident due to weather). We are very fortunate and blessed as this tornado hit a large...

If You Had To Pick A Perfect $100 Pipe??

If You Had To Pick A Perfect $100 Pipe, what would you pick? Let's keep it in the $75-$150 range. I'm interested in spending some bucks on the perfect pipe. :-) LOL, I know there is not such a beast, but would love to know your thoughts.

    New/Old? Ben Wade Pipe

I just bought a new, old? Ben Wade pipe. It's a monster sized pipe. I'm not really a collector, so I'm smoking my first bowl of Mississippi River in it right now. Did I say this is a BIG pipe? Wow. Not something you can tote around with you. LOL

    Cleaning Peterson's Dry Systems

Just a quick question, do you take your Pete's apart to clean them? If not, what's the trick to snake the pipe cleaner through and into the bowl?
