    Canadian pipemaker ANAN

After looking at his website it allmost seems as his motivation for taking up pipemaking was only based on personal economic reasons. If this is the case, it is disrespectfull to the artform of tobacco pipes. :|

Horn Stems, the good, the bad, the ugly facts?

xrundog This makes sense.. they used to make baking salt or something from hartshorn in the old days. Don't recommed tasting it, but I have tried, and it tastes kind of salty :p I have noticed that Moretti also pushes out pipes with horn stems from time to time...

    Draw hole has become taller

I bought a Chacom Tom Eltang some time ago. I bought it off of ebay from a respected seller. The pipe doesn't pass the cleaner test. This is anoying me:!: I was hoping that the people at Chacom would be more pro. Especially while making a product with the Tom Eltang brand....

Horn Stems, the good, the bad, the ugly facts?

    The Art of Smoking Virginias

As mentioned earlier: I think that if you are used to smoking tobacco with more flavour like latakias/aromatics, your taste buds will get used to it. I have been experimenting with latakias bit and have found out that I stop getting a consistant sensation from smoking only latakia for some time...

    Custom Moretti

Wow! That's a nice Morta Poker you have there! Yes, I agree! I face dilemmas all the time while looking at pipes. But I thinks the next one will be a Moretti as well :p

    Custom Moretti

Here a couple more pics of the finish. I prefer wider bowls as well, but i like to smoke Missisippi River in a narrow bowl. I feel that I get more taste from this tobacco in a narrow bowl... I am still experimenting with this. I see! Will be on the lookout for his posts :)
