    Aged PS Luxury Bullseye Flake

I'm not a big cavendish fan myself, but as long as it is unflavored it is acceptable and might even add something interesting. I have big hopes for this one so I grabbed a 24 Oz. box just to see. And thanks to trailboss for clearing it all up. :)

    Aged PS Luxury Bullseye Flake

I have never claimed six months is aged. Where does people get that from.? I just said I have smoked some six months old. That is pretty much a fresh standard tobacco, as one would expect from any tin bought in shop. Therefore I asked if anyone ever tried it aged. Jeeez!

    Aged PS Luxury Bullseye Flake

I agree that 6 months is not aging, but bulk improves a lot in just 2 months in jar. It is not because of aging. So after 6 months it should it should have been "normal" so to say. In my opinion it had not much flavor, so I was looking for someone who had experience in leaving it a couple of...

    Aged PS Luxury Bullseye Flake

I just tried some 6 months old LBF, and must say I am not very impressed. Compared to Davidoffs Version it is tasteless and boring IMO. I just Wonder if anyone have some experience aging it for a longer period and how it develop. I bought a Box anyway, because I guess after a couple of years it...

    Discuss Your Commissions

I started a little tradition last year, and that is to order a birthdaypresent for myself every year by a new master each year. Last year I got a fantastic pipe by Valera Rijenko, and this year I coosed Dirk Cleassen for the job. Each pipes should be around 11cm, strigh, pot-shaped chamber and...

    Old tobacco... stupid question.

I found a great way to re-hydrate tobacco. One second, will see if I find the link nope cant find it for now. But it's simple and clean. - Put your tobacco in a smalll plastic bag, not too small. - Turn on a water-boiler (thos to make tea-water) - When the water starts to boil and the steam...

    Flake packing methods?

Diffrent flakes - different style. I have been experimenting latley with very thin flakes like Scottish Flake and Germain's Brown flake and just cut then against the grain and it will form cubes by it self. And I blend 50/50 with rubbed flakes and just mix them. It burns very well for me. But...

    Stalin smoked a pipe

It’s said that Stalin only smoked a Dunhill. This is from an interview with the great russian pipemaker Grechukhin. Well worth to read full interview by the way. http://pipedia.org/index.php?title=Grechukhin

    Latakia

As it seems like I am over-sencetive for Latakia, I might not be the right one to answer, but I found GLP - Fillmore very nice. It's a VaPerLat with very little Latakia, and bulids a nice base of deep taste.

    My latest order of tobacco

Thanks for the feedback. I look forward to Sextant, but I am a bit worried about the Latakia. As mentioned it seems like I am over-sensitive for it, and it might be too much of it in this blend. But even if my reviews are not so vivid as a lot of other I will continue to update this post after I...

    My latest order of tobacco

I was asked to give some feedback on Briar Fox. To be honest I was a bit disappointed. It is of course not a bad blend, but I think a bit boring. And the crumble cake is not for me. I like my tobacco to be in big parts, and it seems imposible with this. Maybe I'm just not good at preparing it...
