After how many bowls do you clean your pipe?
I run a pipe cleaner through the pipe after every smoke, and usually before I load a bowl, just due to the fact that I have a lot of pipes and can never remember when I last cleaned it out a bit. As for a good, thorough deep cleaning, I usually do it 1-2 times a year. With alcohol, pipe cleaners...- smeigs

All good info here. If you are on a very tight budget, I recommend Missouri Meerschaum cobs as well. They smoke great and are very affordable. I do recommend having 1 good briar pipe to go with your cobs. You can pick up a good briar from anywhere around 35 buck and up, honestly. My first briar...- smeigs

Does A Pipe Shape Influence The Smoking Experience?
In my experience, the pipe length gives me a different experience. The longer the pipe is, the cooler the smoke. I tend to clench my pipes a lot because I am generally doing things while smoking, so I usually don't smoke my shorter pipes while clenching. Just because sometimes the short stubby...- smeigs
