Best Way To Smoke Aromatics? Erinmore Flake

Yeah, as per title I'm curious as to the best way to smoke aromatics. I'll add I never buy aromatics, mainly because the loose variety is usually cheap, sticky horrible old crap that tastes foul compared to how it smells. But! I do smoke Condor which is considered an aromatic I suppose, but imo...

Made A Rack From A Hazel Branch

yep, it's hollow on the bottom. Didn't see the point in adding little hazel rafters when it's going exactly where it is now..

Made A Rack From A Hazel Branch

Thanks a bunch for the kind words gents! As it was a first and merely made for my pipes to go on as they were previously in an old wine box, I didn't make the effort to go for something fancy. But.. now I've got the creative bug. Two more hazel branches harvested today. This one will be made to...

    Dunhill Flake: Review With Pictures.

That's interesting, I guess the right pipe does make the tobacco right! ;) I personally do not like this one. Smells artifically aromatic and plummy. Smokes acrid and too sweet for me and the last tin I had I mixed the remianing flakes in with my left overs bag/ran out of good stuff bag. Have...

Made A Rack From A Hazel Branch

Yo, I was bored today so I packed my rucksack with a folding saw and a knife and took my pooch for a walk in the woods. There is an abundant load of hazel trees around in some areas and plenty good straight bits for me to take and work with. Figured I'd make a pipe rack! :) Nothing fancy, just...

Peterson's Irish Flake: Review with Pictures.

It is a real shame about COndor plug not meeting Uk standards of packaging. I tried phoning around and even getting contacts in Ireland to send me some but no luck. Such a shame as RR and flake are one of my fave's.. :(

St.Bruno Flake - Is This New Packaging..??

Take a look at that! ^ Standard outer packet but with a black plastic and foil sealed little tray?? Is this standard? or a new thing? Never bought a pack before as I've only had it given to me in baggies. Took me by surprise today when in the baccy shop. I usually open all my tins infornt of the...

Peterson's Irish Flake: Review with Pictures.

Ah well that is my assumption! I smoke a large pipe 4-8 time a day.. no effect from even the strong twists or chugging a full bowl of nightcap in 15 minutes. Sadly, heavy smoking does bring on blend boredom sooner. Right now I'm kind of meh about all the blends I have.. Less is more. ;)

Peterson's Irish Flake: Review with Pictures.

The best Peterson blend I've tried. The rest were bloody aweful. I think aot of people are real full time pipe smokers and just partake as a hobby, rather than a day to day thing, hence their sensativity to nictotine. And it's not even like this blend is even strong, medium at best. Great...

    Traveling with flake tobacco

I find the thinner baccy tins are fine to stick in a pocket, but I don't like bulky shit in my hip pockets so I made a leather pouch from an old leather jacket I cut up. It dries the baccy really quickly so I either wrap the baccy in waxed cooking paper or a sandwich bag first. Made a pipe...
