2004 Butera Blended Flake for my inaugural (for me) smoke of a blasted Falstaff (Charatan 2nd) diamond shank billiard. One of my favorite McClelland flakes, and the Falstaff was a sweet smoker all the way to the bottom.....but what would you expect from Charatan?- lochinvar

Castello Question
The difference is who ran the company when the pipe was made, Scotti or his son in law Kino. As for the pipes themselves I haven’t noticed a marked shift. The Kino pipes do have a wider draft, but I’ve had Scotti stamped that had than standard drafts, one fairly early (‘50s?) Sea Rock lovat is...- lochinvar
