Did You Start with a Pipe or Something Else?
I started with cigs, but took up the pipe because it's less expensive, tastes better, smells better, and only leaves ash and smoke when I'm done. Plus my husband likes the smell way more than cigs and he thinks it's hot! :wink:- eibhir

Just ignore other people. I get weird looks all the time and it doesn't bother me. All you need is a thick skin and to know you look smokin'. Or you could stare back at them and smile real slow and friendly. 8)- eibhir

First Time Advice?
Welcome! How I learned was to have a soda with a straw when I was smoking my pipe. Then I tried to mimic the slow soda drinking with the pipe smoking. Hope it helps!- eibhir

Dogs
If he can't turn them in and the owners are d***s and won't control thier dogs then I'd catch the dogs and take them in myself. I've had to do it where I live a few times. There's fewer loose dogs here now.- eibhir
