Best Pipe Filters
I've tried Vauen activated carbon, and Peterson charcoal filters. The Peterson filters are a little more snug in my Petes - but I seem to get a better smoke out of them whatever filter-capable pipe I'm using.- Corto Waltese

I’ve tried both. Peterson charcoal filters diminish the taste - but Vauen activated carbon filters seem to make it disappear altogether. Maybe it depends on the tobacco. I find both to be pretty good in terms of the fit in my pipes.- Corto Waltese

I have a few filtered pipes. I've got Missouri Meerschaum cobs, a 6mm Savinelli, and a couple 9mm filtered Petersons. I have a jar or two of VA's that I'm aging on purpose, but for the rest, I'm just using mason jars to store them after I open a tin.
