The Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 365

Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our featured interview tonight will be our 2nd extended version of “Ask the Pipe Maker” with Jeff Gracik, of J. Alan Pipes. Jeff is a well-known, expert, artisan pipe maker. He has been making pipes for over 15-years. He can make any of the classic shapes, but concentrates more on the freehand Danish style pipes. In “Pipe Parts” we will have a trip report from Brian on his overseas travels. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, Missouri Meerschaum, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.
We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector.

  • Going to Britain just has to be a real treat. You could go sightseeing for a whole year and not see everything. I’ve always wanted to go to the Old Sod, first, and then to Great Britain.
I just can’t believe Rich Esserman smokes those huge pipes but I’ve seen him so I guess I’ll have to believe it.

  • Another great show, Brian. Jeff is a pleasure to listen to. It’d be great if you’d review the Hebraica blends. William Serad and I blended them for Craig Tarlor at C&D close to 25 years ago. (The anniversary of the Christopher Morley Club where we met is set for October.) I’ve always thought they were overlooked by many for some reason. Maybe the names put people off. My favorite is Or L’yom or Daylight. Enjoy Ira

  • I forgot to mention it, but Congratulations on your 7th Anniversary of hosting the Pipes Magazine Radio Show.
