The Pipes Magazine Radio Show – Episode 33

Kevin Godbee
Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We want to thank you for listening and being one of our loyal 15,000 weekly fans. Your host is Brian Levine and in tonight’s “Pipe Parts” segment, the topic is American Artisan Estate Pipes. Brian will talk about several different American pipe makers that he feels deliver great value between the excellent quality, and prices that are not too high. Our featured guest is a big name in the pipe smoking hobby … he is our first “Mystery Guest” and you are guaranteed to learn some interesting things from him. Since we are in Chicago for the pipe show, we will have some appropriate music from Frank Sinatra.

  • There hasn’t been a show to date I haven’t enjoyed. This one was remarkably good, though. Really enjoyed it and found I learned a lot! Keep up the good work, Mr. Levine!

  • OK, so I didn’t catch it at 8:00 PM. Too busy in the smoking Tent @ Chicago. Bill Kotyk and I did listen to it at Midnight on Thursday. However, I have to say that seeing Kevin and Brian in person was much better than via podcast.

  • I didn’t get to it until today. Really enjoyed this show as well as the show Kevin and Brian did at the Chicago Show.
Brian is right on about the quality the pipes he discussed in his segment on undervalued/under appreciated American carvers.
You will want to see Kevin’s new smoking jacket. It is killer.

  • Thanks for another great show. It is always a pleasure getting Greg’s views on tobacco, I am always amazed at how he can articulate and communicate his thoughts on tasting and flavors. Interesting take on the estate market for American carvers, sounds like some great deals to be had out there. Any show with the Chairman of the Board singing is a good thing.
