  • Great interview. We need more like this. Look forward to more from David.
I even enjoyed this music this week.
    Thanks,

  • Just a spectacular show with David Field. Smoking a pipe at age 9 was really rich. His life in pipes might well be one of legend.
The great tragedy of health insurance programs is everybody wants the other guy to pay for their health care.

  • I’m going to hold my bread until the continuation of the RD Fields interview continues, so don’t delay! As a fan and collector of Bill Taylor Ashton pipes, his memories and experiences are like gold.

  • “Past his prime”… good try, Brian 🙂 We got it. Great interview. Looking forward to the second half. Totally with you on the rant. Slippery slope, thin edge of the wedge, call it what you like I’m already living it. I just checked for smoker vs non-smoker premiums to give as an example… from finder.com.au: For 800,000 life cover, a 35 y.o. Australian accountant can pay 41.43 per month as a non smoker, and 81.20 if he smokes. You can shop around and you might pay only 50-60% more than a non smoker. 30%? For now, maybe. Dig your heels in, my American brothers.

  • I, too, am holding my bread for the continuation of the excellent conversation with David.
The tune from Sir James was lovely.
    Another fun show, thanks.
