Your host is Brian Levine and in tonight’s "Pipe Parts" segment he will talk about the different types of pipe collections—what exactly defines a "Pipe Collection"? Is there more than one kind of pipe collection? Tonight’s featured guest interview is with Paul Creasy. Paul is the President of The Sutliff Tobacco Co. He has been in the industry for more than three decades, has an amazing knowledge of the business, and is an expert on the tobacco legislative front. Paul will give us the latest news in this area, which has some scary possibilities that he is fighting against.

Your host is Brian Levine and in tonight’s "Pipe Parts" segment he will talk about pipe stem materials. We will cover stem materials from the "old days" and more modern stem materials as well. Our featured guest is artisan pipe maker from Japan, Hiroyuki Tokutomi. Tokutomi has been making high grade pipes, mostly in the freehand style for many years, and about a year ago turned his business into a family business, adding his wife and daughter to the pipe making team. The audio was recorded during the Chicago Pipe Show. Since Tokutomi doesn’t speak English, we had translation help from Ryota Shimizu. He is in charge of customer service for Japanese customers for SmokingPipes.com.

Our featured guest is Dr. Fred Hanna. Fred has a PhD. and is a professor teaching graduate level courses on Counseling & Psychotherapy at the University of Northern Colorado. He is also author of the book, The Perfect Smoke and creator of two tobacco blends; Wilderness and Legends made by McClelland. Fred will be telling us some fascinating, and perhaps even astounding facts about nicotine.

Some accessories could even have their own segment. Brian will talk about tampers, pipe bags, and even advise on the different nuances of pipe cleaners. Our featured guest is Marco Parascenzo from Rome, Italy. Marco has his own retail store, website, and is the US importer / agent for Castello Pipes. Castello will be the focus of the discussion.

Two weeks ago, Greg Pease recommended some different tobaccos in his line that represent different genres. Tonight Brian will mention some other brands and blends that are also good examples of different styles that you might want to try. Our featured guest is Pipe maker Chris Morgan. Chris makes some extremely creative high grade pipes, and he has also made name for himself with his unique "Briar Cigar".

Brian will discuss the size of the bowl and how it affects the tobacco smoking experience, as well as the length of the shank in relation to the length of the stem on the pipe. Our featured guest is Ryota Shimizu. Ryota handles customer service for SmokingPipes.com’s Japanese customers in their native language. The interview was pre-recorded during the Chicago pipe show last week. Speaking of the Chicago pipe show, Brian will give his report on what happened there.
